How to be imaginative & nurture creativity - Ong Hui Xin
The Unusual School is dedicated to developing emotional intelligence by applying psychology, philosophy, and culture to everyday life. The workshop will be facilitated by a Visually Impaired Facilitator.
For as long as she could remember, Hui Xin became completely blind before she turned 1. However, this did not stop her from having a regular childhood and playing along the corridors with her neighbors to playing indoor games with her siblings. Among all these, her favorite type of play was pretend-play, where she utilized her imagination to compensate for her lack of sight.
Come listen to how she "sees" the world without sight and discover how imagination through play brings about creativity, teamwork, and connectedness.
